The Sassy Sampler (sassy sampler box) ~ Review

I recently purchased a Sassy Sampler Box, and very excited that I did!

I visited The Sassy Sampler and selected the small sample box. The order process was pretty simple and smooth. I received my package about a week later.

I am, normally, giddy like a kid at Christmas and rarely make it out of the post office before I am opening packages to see what I got! This time, I knew there were several different items in the package and made my self wait until I got home, which took all of 5 minutes! That was pretty disheartening to my post lady, she enjoys package days as much as I do and enjoys seeing all the great things that come my way. I promised her I would bring the items down to let her see the next day. BTW, she took several of the business cards and coupons to pass out and a few just for herself ,lol. I was okay with that, because I had already gotten the information off of them!

So back to the box, I received 11 sample products and several special offer business cards & coupons. I must say I was pleasantly surprised to see that people were putting in samples that were enough to actually sample, to try and several full size items to boot! That is a huge plus to me!

As I mentioned, there were several items in the box. Each box may be different, each company submits the samples and offers of their choice. They may also choose to contribute several different months and different items, so it truly is a surprise, never know what your going to find inside!

Now the only thing I can say that is less than Exemplary about the items in the box is the packaging of samples. (which The Sassy Sampler has no control over, it is the business owners/consultants that submit samples responsibility) Everything was packaged great, Im just a sucker for the "cute"! I too like a really nicely dressed package, shows me that the business cares about me as the customer.

I like to throw extra little things in to my customer orders before I deliver or ship out. If I come across great samplers/fillers that are cute or dressed up (and ones Im not hogging to myself, of course) I toss them in to the bags for my customers too. Who doesn't need the added exposure?!

Product Review..Honey Pie Accessories ~ Wipe Cases

I am really excited to tell you all about my most recent purchase! Not long ago I purchased this Wipe Case from Honey Pie Accessories. The bright colored strips caught my attention right away. Now those that may know of my daughter, know that wipes are a necessity around my house and on the go. Although most would associate having wipes around generally if you have an infant or toddler, I will not be the first to say that having them for school aged kids is a must as well, so why not do it in style!

I decided that I would put this to use in my truck, since this seems to be when we have the most need for wipes, always on the go and always a mess to follow,lol.

It has fun bright colors and always easy to locate in our rushed time of need. I havent lost it or had to search very long to find it. Lolly pops and quick snacks on the go has made having wipes handy as well as the quick clean up after a happy meal. What mom doesnt know of this???

Now as for the wipe case, I have had compliments on it as well as when people see it they are always asking me "what is that?" Its fun and for moms that carry a purse/diaper bag, it is easy to locate and not dull looking like the plain cases can be.

When I ask my daughter to get me the wipes she doesnt take forever getting it, she sees it right away and as an added bonus, she says its so pretty and made for big girls, the ones she with out covers she says are for babies, lol.

So in my opinion it is great to have one that makes her feel like a big girl!!

These Wipe Case's would make great gifts for new moms! But......

Wipe Case's aren't just for moms. They are great for when you go out to eat and not every place offers those neat little packaged wipes. And for our husbands that work in the field, as one of my friends have mentioned, as well as my husband who is in construction, these are great to wipe their hands with BEFORE they touch the steering wheel lol. And we all know that fast food doesnt always mean quick, easy and clean. I find I spend more time cleaning up after a meal on the go than I would have if I had time to actually stop and eat. And we coffee drinkers all KNOW that they arent spill proof and what is sticker than spilt coffee?

Okay so enough of me "rambling" here. I just want to say that I think this is a great idea to have around and fun to boot! I recommend this product to others.

The only thing I can think of that would make this product perfect, is if a travel pack of wipes was included.

I look forward to seeing more that Honey Pie Accessories has to offer.

Maybe my next wipe case will be covered in denim? Hum, now that would be a fun one as well!

Product/Giveaway Review - Cara Retz ~ Discovery Toys

I entered a Labor Day Giveaway that Cara with Discovery Toys was having during the month of September. She holds frequent giveaways at her blog: Play Smart Blog.

This particular Giveaway, I really wanted. I have a 4yr old child and knew this was perfect for her. I was extremely excited that I had won, but my excitement didn't hold a candle to my daughters reaction when she opened the package.

She took a few moments to look the toy over and then with out being told how to do it she was able to figure out that she could take it apart with the screwdriver that was included. She did ask for a little help when putting it back together. But after the first time all we heard was "I can do it myself!" They even boast that their premium soy bean wax candles and tart chunks are made from two types of American grown soybeans, with natural botanical oils added to give them vibrant colors and a creamy texture. In addition to their soybeans they emphasize their soy soap, room sprays, and electric tart melters that are they claim will satisfy your senses.

• Spa Candle

The purpose of the creation of Soylicious was developed to provide stay at home moms and dads a way to build a business for a small investment. They have assembled a team of experts to help you build your business, but want to ensure affiliates that it is not a get rich quick scheme.

As an affiliate you are provided with your very own www.Soylicious.com website from where you may recruit affiliates and conduct online orders, recieving a 40% commission each time. In fact, you earn double points commission on the monthly auto-ship of the recruits on your team. In addition to your own website you will have access to the affiliate back office where you will be able to track your team growth and sales.

Unlike many other MLM companies, they have established an online community that they host where you can interact, connect, and share ideas and concerns with your other fellow affiliates. This community or "affiliate board" will serve as the meeting place for conferences, training, and any other posts.

Their affiliate program, unlike network marketing, will provide you with a unique link in the form of a URL banner. Of course with this banner you are free to post on any website, as it will track all orders that come through your Banner.

Cost?

So what is the Compensation Plan?

Interestingly enough, Soylicious has a profitable compensation plan for their affiliates. There are five different income streams for which affiliates can make money from. Here they are:

1. Home-Events: You receive a 40% discount on all purchases and Hostess receives free products and discounts.
2. Retail Sales: Direct sales to friends, family, and coworkers.
3. Web site sales: You will have your own SoyLicious.com web site from which your customers may place orders and you will receive a 40% commission on all sales.
4. Fundraisers: Party, dinners, and much more.
5. Residual Income: You will earn a residual income, as you recruit affiliates and build your team, on their monthly membership fees and on any website sales or home events they conduct.

So is this a Scam or Not?

Since this company has just started it is unfair for me to make an assumption. But, so far from what I have discovered from their success and heard from other customers of Soylicious I can say that they have a solidified business plan and a world of potential. They have a unique product in their vibrant colored and creamy textured candles. Also, they have experienced and successful leaders in Steve Gray, Nadine Johnson, and Mary Reid. Quite frankly, without the right LEADERS, who possess the expertise and knowledge to influence and inspire you to understand how to optimize the power of your chosen product then you would fail so quickly you would not know what hit you. Therefore, I can honestly claim that Soylcious is NOT a scam.

Most Importantly, however, no matter what product your selling, the MAIN key to YOUR Success will not be promoting Soylicious, it will be your level of effectiveness and passion in MARKETING your business or product. Product Review............Dawn Correspondence (Amanday Day)

Wow! its been a bit since i did my last Product Review!

Well, today I am doing a review on a great product that I can use for personal and business. I attended an online vendor event at the Sassy Affair ~Sassy Sisters In Sales Events website. This is a free event that is done twice a month. If you have a business that you would like to represent (at no cost) this is the place to do it! Anyway, I was there one night and Amanda Day (owner of Dawn Correspondence) was telling us about her company. Now I have had my eye on a particular item that she sales in her shop! So when she offered up a game, I joined in and I WON!!! She gave me a Gift Certificate to her shop, and boy was I one happy camper!
I used the GC for the very items that I have had my eye on for a while. But then i thought, hum..., Im gonna need more. I placed my order for additional Mini Thank You Cards to go with those that i had won. I couldn't decide on which style I wanted, so, I told her to surprise me. And she did!

Look at these awesome Mini Thank You Cards! They are the perfect size for what I was needing!

She sent me a variety of cards including the two pictured above. She provides great customer service. I was very happy with how she made sure that I was getting exactly what I wanted. The delivery time was awesome as well!

I was getting ready to deliver a party order when these cards came in. I got calls back from the customers saying they were very surprised to get a thank you card and that "those cards are just wonderful", lol! (a quote from a customer)

If you are in direct sales, these make the perfect Thank You cards! They go great with any size order and your customers will appreciate the effort that you went to, to tell them thank you! These are also great for after the Birthday party, wedding shower, Baby shower, etc.

Amanda has several different Stationary items in her shop that she personally makes. They are of great quality and very professional looking. I do recommend that you drop into her shop to see all that she has to offer. She does custom orders as well as Invitation cards, Stationary Paper etc.
You are sure to find something to satisfy your stationary needs!! These make great holiday gifts as well.
The only negative part of this review is that, I should have ordered more! I cant wait to place my next order.

There are times when you just have to get something for yourself. That is the conclusion I have come to. I am like most, I will buy for someone else before I do for myself. and any purchase I make for myself must be a justified one, like for my business or the whole in my shoe isn't going to fix itself, lol.

Weekend Purchase Review - Debbi Anderson

On two different occasions I had the opportunity to make use of Debbi's awesome specials at The Knead to Relax.

The first sale I took advantage of was a collection of teas from Let's Do Tea. I was very impressed with the quality of the tea. It arrived in these great tins along with the stainless steel infusers.

The second purchase I made was for several charms and 2 key chain starters. Debbi assembled them for me making 2 keepsake key chains. One for me and the other as a gift. Absolutely beautiful and fun charms!!

Some One You Should Know....................

I DID!

I have been doing Direct Sales for almost 2 years now. I do home and catalog parties etc., But have, until recently, never done a vendor event, expo, craft fair, etc.
I was invited to be part of one in my local community. I was so excited and extremely nervous at the same time!
I had it all planned out. I was going to set up my table just right and hand out catalogs and just knew that everyone would love my companies/products! Yeah, its that simple, right?!?
Wrong!
I talked about the event in my online groups and locally. Boy did I have a "wake up" call. There was so much more to it. When asking others about their experience I got " Be yourself, your products will sell themselves", "I never sale anything, but i may get bookings", and " I get bookings, but never any sales". Okay i can see that, right? Then I got " I don't do them they are a waste of my time and money". Wow, Yes, I was scared now!
I am not the type to give up. I made a commitment and I was going to stick to it.
I knew I was doing the event, I knew my products, I had what I needed to do the event, But What Next?!?
Yes I had been to events before, but didn't know what really went it to doing one.
I decide at that point I needed help. Not just help, but HELP!
I wanted to learn more ways to help my business and that is EXACTLY what I got!
